Code of Conduct

Xai Robotics is a professional engineering lab. Membership is a privilege.

Applies to all members, camps, and events.

We protect Community, Respect, and Excellence through clear standards and real enforcement.
1

Respect is Non-Negotiable

Treat mentors, members, guests, and the facility with dignity. Bullying, harassment, intimidation, threats, abusive language, or aggressive behavior is not tolerated.

Violations may result in immediate removal and membership cancellation.

2

Safety First, Always

Follow mentor instructions and posted safety rules. Use tools only as trained. Wear required safety gear. Report injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.

Unsafe behavior, horseplay, or unsafe contact with people or equipment is grounds for immediate termination.

3

Lab Property Stays in the Lab

Do not remove tools, parts, robots, electronics, or materials from the facility. Xai Robotics hardware is shared infrastructure that must remain onsite to support continuity and fairness.

4

Personal Items & Device Responsibility

Take your personal belongings home after each session. Personal devices (laptops, tablets, phones) are brought at your own risk. Xai Robotics is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

5

Damage & Financial Responsibility

Members and families are responsible for damage caused by misuse, negligence, or intentional behavior. We will charge for repair or replacement as needed.

6

Respect Other Builds

Do not touch another member’s project, parts, code, or workstation without permission from the member and a mentor. Support each other—do not interfere.

7

Clean Lab Standard

Keep your station clean to protect sensitive electronics. Return tools to their proper locations. Dispose of trash properly and leave the workspace ready for the next builder.

8

Food, Drinks, and Water

No food or drinks in the workshop. Water is allowed only in designated areas.

9

Digital Conduct

No adult content on-site or on Xai Robotics networks. Do not bypass security controls, access restricted systems, or misuse lab internet. Violations are grounds for termination.

10

Noise, Movement, and Shared Time

Keep noise low and use headphones for personal audio. Walk—never run. Be fair with shared equipment and time limits so others can work.

By participating in Xai Robotics programs, members agree to follow this Code of Conduct.
