Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and participation in Xai Robotics programs, services, facilities, and digital systems.

Throughout these Terms, "Xai Robotics," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Xai Robotics Workshop, located at 5679 Coral Ridge Dr, Coral Springs, Florida.

By visiting our facility, enrolling in a program, using our admissions system, or accessing any of our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use our services.

1. Nature of the Institution

Xai Robotics operates as an engineering institution. Participation is structured, supervised, and governed by institutional standards.

Enrollment is not the purchase of a product. It is participation in a structured engineering program.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at our discretion to preserve safety, integrity, and operational standards.

2. Eligibility and Parental Responsibility

Parents or legal guardians must enroll minors.

By enrolling a student, you confirm:

  • You are the legal guardian or authorized adult
  • All provided information is accurate
  • You accept responsibility for the student’s conduct and financial obligations

Parents are responsible for any damage to Xai Robotics property caused by their child beyond normal wear and tear.

Parents are also responsible for damage to personal devices or belongings brought into the lab.

3. Admissions and Enrollment

Admission may require submission of household information, student information, and payment of applicable fees.

Enrollment is not guaranteed until:

  • Required fees are paid
  • Payment method is valid
  • Required forms are completed

We reserve the right to place students in appropriate programs based on age, readiness, and capacity.

4. Payments and Billing

Payments are processed through authorized providers such as Stripe.

We do not store full card numbers.

Memberships

Membership policies include:

  • One month cancellation notice required
  • No proration of unused time
  • No refunds for missed sessions
  • Re registration fees may apply after cancellation
  • Late payments may incur fees

Monthly membership pricing may change at the end of a billing term. Notice will be provided in advance.

Camps, Events, Cohorts, and Trials

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Registration fees are non refundable
  • Trial sessions are non refundable
  • Event tickets are non refundable
  • Camp purchases are non refundable except where required by law

Credits, if issued, are discretionary and not guaranteed.

5. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Participation in Xai Robotics programs does not guarantee:

  • Academic placement
  • Scholarships
  • Internship placement
  • Employment outcomes

Students are responsible for their engagement and effort.

6. Intellectual Property

All systems, robots, platforms, CAD files, codebases, documentation frameworks, curriculum designs, and engineered artifacts created within Xai Robotics are the property of Xai Robotics.

Students may:

  • Use project artifacts in personal portfolios
  • Share non confidential work for educational purposes

Students may not:

  • Commercialize internal systems
  • Reproduce proprietary platforms
  • Redistribute lab materials
  • Represent institutional intellectual property as personal ownership

All hardware remains in the lab unless explicitly purchased under written agreement.

7. Media and Documentation

Engineering work may be documented through photography or video.

By entering the facility, participants acknowledge that media may be captured for:

  • Website
  • Social media
  • Institutional documentation
  • Marketing materials

Parents may submit a written request to opt out of promotional media.

8. Acceptable Conduct

Participants may not:

  • Engage in unsafe behavior
  • Damage equipment intentionally
  • Disrupt instructional sessions
  • Harass other participants
  • Attempt to access restricted systems
  • Introduce malicious code or devices

Violation may result in suspension or termination without refund.

9. Facility Rules

Parents remain outside the active lab floor during sessions unless otherwise authorized.

Students must follow mentor instructions regarding tools, electronics, and mechanical systems.

Closed toe shoes are required.

Food and drink policies may be enforced based on equipment protection standards.

10. Third Party Services

We may integrate third party services including payment processors, analytics providers, or educational tools.

We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third party providers.

11. Accuracy of Information

We strive for accuracy in program descriptions and scheduling. However, we reserve the right to modify:

  • Program schedules
  • Curriculum structure
  • Equipment
  • Staffing
  • Pricing

Changes will not retroactively alter already completed billing periods.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Xai Robotics shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in programs or use of our systems.

Engineering activities involve tools, electronics, and mechanical systems. While safety protocols are enforced, participation includes inherent risk.

Guardians acknowledge and accept these risks.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate participation for:

  • Non payment
  • Repeated misconduct
  • Safety violations
  • Violation of intellectual property protections

Termination does not waive outstanding financial obligations.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms as programs evolve.

Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Broward County, Florida, unless otherwise required by law.
